It is no news that everyone is scared of growing Old. Waking up tomorrow to realize you are incapable of doing the things that cost you nothing to do at a young age. Old age is indeed a blessing but most people see it as a burden.
Living your old age to the fullest requires living to some certain requirements in one’s youthful days. A popular saying states that “As you lay your bed, so shall you lie on it”. A healthy old age involves the following
Eat Healthy: Being mindful of what goes into our body matters alot. Taking junks and all manner of unhealthy food will making old age unbearable and leaves one battling with a lot of diseases.
Take care of your skin: Adequate care for the skin is also important. Avoid indiscriminate use of creams and lotion which damages the Melanin and leaves the skin vulnerable to diseases and infections.
Save: It is also very important to save to avoid having insufficient funds in the future. Embracing a good saving pattern at one’s youth is very essential and encouraging.
A good parenting: Train up a child in a way he should grow, and when he is old he will never depart from it. Good parenting is very essential. There is no fulfillment as one of a parent who raised descent kids. In my next article, I will be giving tips on proper parenting.
Write: Writing frequently, keeping journals, diaries and notes helps to keep fond memories of the past when one grows old. Cultivate the habit of writing daily about families, friends, relationship, lifestyle and so on…..
Try to keep this little tips and work towards them. Rather than being scared and panicking, prepare for the future and face the reality.
